INFORMATION NOTE PURSUANT TO ART. 13 OF LEGISLATIVE DECREE 196 OF 30 JUNE 2003

Pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree 196 of 30 June 2003, the "Personal Data Protection Code".
Please note that the personal data you have been asked to provide for submission of the complaint will be processed by our company as strictly required, for the purposes associated with overall management of the complaint in question. For this purpose, you must provide the data indicated in the boxes below marked with asterisks, as your complaint cannot be processed without this information.

These data are requested to enable communication where we cannot reach you by email and for the determination of customer types and travel habits, for the purposes of allowing scheduling, by Trenitalia, of an appropriate range of services.
As part of these activities, you may be contacted by telephone or fax. You may provide your personal data for this purpose if you wish, by giving specific consent when you are asked to do so during submission of your complaint; if you choose not to provide these data, it will not be possible to contact you using the abovementioned methods and you will not be able to take part in activities designed to determine customer types and travel habits intended to enable scheduling, by Trenitalia, of
an appropriate range of services.

PROCEDURES FOR PROCESSING
Your personal data will be processed in hard-copy and electronic form using manual and computer-based systems, with the application of appropriate measures designed to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data. 
Your data will be provided only to RFI S.p.A. (FS Group) where the issue to which the complaint relates falls within the competence of that company. Your data will not be distributed in any manner, and will be accessed only by the N/I Sales and Customer Care Department of the N/I Passenger Division, the Regional Commercial Department and the various Regional/Provisional Departments of the Regional Passenger Division, in their capacity as Trenitalia S.p.A. entities responsible for the data, Tele Sistemi Ferroviari S.p.A and FS S.p.A., and by the individuals designated by the abovementioned managers, in their capacity as employees thereof.

OWNER AND ENTITY RESPONSIBLE FOR PROCESSING
The Data Controller is Trenitalia S.p.A., based in P.za della Croce Rossa 1, 00161 Rome
The entity responsible for the processing of the data is the N/I Sales and Customer Care department of Trenitalia S.p.A, with its registered office at Piazza della Croce Rossa 1, 00161 Rome; a list of the other entities responsible can be consulted at that office.

RIGHTS OF THE PERSONS INVOLVED
You may exercise your rights pursuant to Article 7 of Legislative Decree 196/03 at any time vis-a-vis the abovementioned individuals, including your right to obtain confirmation of the existence of personal data about you and your right to obtain information about the content and origin of that data, your right to verify the accuracy of the data or to request that it be supplemented, updated or corrected, your right to request that data processed in violation of the law be deleted, transformed into anonymous form or blocked, and your right to object in any case, for legitimate reasons, to processing of data about you.
