You can independently request both ticket refunds (in the event of cancellation before the train departure) and compensation for train delays directly from the Trenitalia website or app. Log in to your Customer Area or use the Search ticket function and select Manage > Refund or Manage > Compensation, as applicable.

Requests for refunds and/or compensation for delays can also be submitted, in Italian or English, using the Common European Form, available on the website Implementing Regulation - EU - 2024/949 - EN - EUR-Lex (europa.eu) , which must be filled out and attached to this web form or, alternatively, handed in at the ticket office or assistance desk. The processing of data is carried out by Trenitalia in compliance with the Policy outlined below. We would like to remind you to check that your consent to the transfer of your personal data is expressed in the same way on the web form as it is on the Single European Form.

For inquiries or reports concerning the Cartafreccia programme, please use the “Member Support” section of the website only. Reports submitted using this webform will not be considered.
